Originally I titled the piece "Fresh Eggs Here" as I knew the first building was a hen house.
These barns literally stopped me in my tracks on the way home one evening as the light was so grand that I turned around and backtracked to get the reference photos for my painting. A view I had seen often seemed transformed by the afternoon light.
Once home, I painted quickly and this was my impression.
